Olivia is a lovely book, written and illustrated by Ian Falconer. This book has won the Caldecott Honor award in 2000. This is the chinese translated version.
Olivia is a feisty piglet who's got too much energy for her own good. She is always up to something, be it singing Forty Very Loud Songs, building a skyscraper out of sand, trying on all her clothes before she steps out of house, or getting rid of her little brother who is always imitating her. She never gets tired at all.
This book may strike a chord with parents with energetic children at home, especially the part where Olivia "negotiated" to be read 5 bedtime stories in a row. Poor exhausted mommy. :)
Hard cover. Simplified chinese. No hanyu pinyin. For reading to your kid, this book may suit children of 4 up. For self read, it is recommended for children of 6 years up.
