A blue squid thinks that he is the biggest creature in the ocean. He went around comparing himself with all the animals that are smaller than him, such as the crab, the octopus, sea turtles, etc. When the humongous whale swallowed him up, he smugly claims that he is the biggest amongst all the others in the whale's tummy.
Hard cover. Comes with large font with very simple text. Beautiful and colourful illustration. There are only one sentence per page and the use of simple language will be suitable for young toddlers who are just learning to read. The simple storyline also makes it easier for the little ones to understand. This may be a good book to introduce the various sea animals to your child.
Simplified chinese. No hanyu pinyin. For reading to your kid, this book may suit children of 1+ up. For self read, it is recommended for children of 4 years up.
