The Story

Set in Paris, an homeless, jobless man by the name of Armand lived his everyday life undisturbed and going about as he pleased with no worries. One day, upon reaching a bridge he took shelter under on a cold, winter day, he spotted three little children and their dog. The children, dog, and mother had lost their home and resided under the bridge as well. He does not like to share his "spot".

But as the days go by, these little children unintentionally snatch bits and pieces of Armand's heart, opening his eyes and welcoming him with feelings only a dear family could give. He comes "home" one day and sees two female social workers leaving his little nook under the bridge. He rushed to see how the children were and they were upset because the ladies said they were going to get the police. He got them up and moved them to a safe place which was with the gypsies. He goes back and gets their mother who is furious at first, but after she hears why he took them she was grateful. He fought with himself about falling in love with this family, but in the end he does fall in love with them. He finds a job keeping a business complex clean and the job comes with a little house for him and the family.
