Di Zi Gui was written in the Qing Dynasty during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor by Li Yuxiu. The book is based on the ancient teaching of the Chinese philosopher Confucius. Di Zi Gui emphasizes the basic requisites for being a good person and guidelines for living in harmony with other. Teachings include being dutiful to my parents, love your younger siblings, be cautious in all your dealings, love all equally, be trustworthy person, learn from people of virtue and compassion, etc.
Each page comes with the phrase with accompanying hanyu pinyin. Parents who are not able to read to their child in Chinese can press the audio button. At the bottom of each page is a short description in layman term to explain what the phrase is about. This explanation section does not contain hanyu pinyin.
